Michael Houge is a seasoned Director with over 39 years of experience in commercial real estate sales, leasing, and investment transactions. He specializes in the acquisition and disposition of net-leased (NNN) properties, 1031 tax-deferred exchanges, and commercial real estate in the Bakken Shale Oil region and broader North Dakota markets.

Throughout his career, Michael has closed over $1 billion in property sales and facilitated leasing for more than one million square feet as both a landlord and tenant representative. He is a recognized industry thought leader, frequently speaking at panels and conferences on topics including investment sales, capital markets, net-lease sectors, and the North Dakota real estate landscape.

Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and has earned the CCIM and SIOR designations—credentials held by fewer than 850 of over 1.5 million REALTORS® nationwide. He has served as President of both the Minnesota-Dakotas Chapters of CCIM and SIOR and currently sits on the Minnesota Commercial Association of REALTORS® Board of Directors. Additionally, he serves as the national Chairman of the SIOR Investment Member Steering Committee.
