Scope of Experience

Mel Schultz, CPM®, serves as Chief Manager of NAI Legacy and President of NAI Legacy Property Management, which merged from Clarity Commercial in January 2025 to form the new division of NAI Legacy. In addition to his leadership roles, Mel is the Executive CPM for NAI Legacy Property Management, an Accredited Management Organization (AMO) certified by the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM).

Under Mel’s guidance, NAI Legacy’s property management and brokerage platform oversees a diverse portfolio of more than 65 properties totaling over 3 million SF. This portfolio includes retail, medical, office, commercial associations, and raw land development across Minnesota, California, and Texas.

A passionate advocate for his team, Mel believes that his staff are the firm’s greatest asset and is deeply committed to fostering their personal and professional growth.

Mel’s involvement with IREM began in 2003, culminating in earning his CPM® certification in 2007. He has been a long-standing contributor to the Minnesota Chapter of IREM and has served in numerous leadership roles and committees at the international level. Additionally, Mel is actively engaged with the National Association of Realtors and several other industry organizations, regularly participating in events, serving on committees, and providing leadership.

Mel resides in Rosemount, Minnesota with his wife of over 29 years. They are proud parents of three adult children and grandparents to one grandson.
